Welcome to DayHop. By using our website at dayhop.polsia.app and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use DayHop.
1. What DayHop Is
DayHop is an AI-powered day trip planning tool. We generate personalized itineraries based on your chosen city and preferences using data from third-party services (Google Places, OpenWeatherMap, Ticketmaster). We are not a travel agency, booking service, or licensed tour operator.
2. Your Account
You can use DayHop without an account. Creating an account lets you save itineraries, access Pro features, and share trips publicly.
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
- You're responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. Don't share credentials or create multiple accounts to abuse free trials.
3. Pro Subscription
DayHop offers a paid Pro subscription with additional features including route optimization, PDF city guides, and priority support.
- Free trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free Pro trial. No credit card required.
- Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. We offer monthly ($4.99/mo) and annual ($39.99/yr) plans. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time.
- Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on first-time Pro purchases. Email us within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked.
- Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. We'll send a reminder email before renewal.
4. Acceptable Use
Use DayHop for its intended purpose — planning trips. Don't:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download our content or API responses.
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the service at scale.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the service to compete directly with DayHop.
- Circumvent rate limits or security measures.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
5. Your Content
When you save or share itineraries on DayHop:
- You own your content. Itineraries you create, notes you add, and preferences you set remain yours.
- You grant us a license to display, store, and serve your shared itineraries publicly (that's the point of sharing). This license is non-exclusive and revocable — delete or un-share your itinerary anytime.
- AI-generated content (itinerary narratives, tips, recommendations) is produced by DayHop and not owned by any individual user.
6. Third-Party Services
DayHop uses third-party services to provide its features:
- Google Places API: Place data, photos, ratings, and reviews are sourced from Google. Google's Terms of Service apply to this data.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Your payment info is handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
- OpenWeatherMap: Weather forecasts in itineraries.
- Ticketmaster: Local event listings.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or policies of these third-party services.
7. Disclaimer
DayHop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Specifically:
- We don't guarantee that places recommended are open, safe, or suitable for you. Always verify before visiting.
- Ratings, prices, hours, and availability shown may be outdated. Check directly with venues.
- AI-generated recommendations are suggestions, not professional travel advice.
- We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayHop and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with DayHop, please contact us first at dayhop@polsia.app. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of DayHop at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice for changes that affect paid features. If we discontinue a paid feature during your subscription period, we'll provide a prorated refund.
